ABOUT US
Founded in 1992, our firm’s primary goal was to protect the interest of Tenants in their negotiations with Landlords in New York City. We have always worked on the Tenant side of the equation - owing our success to the trust that others have placed in us. Such trust is a serious responsibility that we hold well.
Our first Tenant Mandate was to establish a new Corporate Campus for Scholastic Inc. in Soho. We arranged a triple net lease of the 300,000 sq. ft. building at 555 Broadway near Prince Street. That began a 12 year odyssey of effectivey being an outsourced real estate department for a $2 Billion public corporation. Ultimately, we participated in the negotiations for over 600,000 sq. ft. of commercial real estate leases in New York and New Jersey for Scholastic Inc.
At a corporate celebration at their rooftop “Greenhouse”, Dick Robinson, the Chairman of Scholastic Inc. referred to us as “…the most honest real estate broker I have ever met”. We allowed that moment to define our corporate mission, direction and objective. To develop a portfolio of clients whose needs we could serve, as if their needs were our own.
This is one example of a trust based relationship that blossomed for both Client and Vendor. Our goal has been to consistently establish new relationships along these lines - and we’ve been successful doing so, again and again, by holding our Tenant’s interests above all else. When the Client’s needs and expectations are exceeded, and we have provided a strong value added service, we have done our job.
